About Audlem Baptist Church

Audlem Baptist Church is situated in the village of Audlem in the south of Cheshire on the border with Shropshire and Staffordshire. We are an evangelical Church (which means that we accept the Bible as the basis of what we believe and we rely on the Holy Spirit to affect how we live). We are too small to support a Minister but we are grateful to many gifted people both within our congregation and in the wider Christian community who lead our worship Sunday by Sunday.

We appreciate all who attend Church from the youngest to the oldest. Each Sunday we try to include time for singing, praying and learning together from the Bible as well as making time to share together more informally.

We are committed to helping all who join us to
  • learn more about God's' love and forgiveness, righteousness and grace
  • develop the fruit of the Holy Spirit in their personal lives
  • discover ways to serve God in the community and the world at large
Sunday services usually start at 10.30am and usually finish about 11.45am. The service is followed by refreshments in the adjoining hall. People are seldom in much of a hurry to leave! We also have a small bookshop and lending library.
